POLITIPOLLS.com is a web application developed by Brian Schlansky for his Master’s Thesis at the University of Miami School of Communication. The app is designed to conduct political polling for candidates running for President of the United States and for the House of Representatives.
Using data from the Sunlight Foundation, Yahoo, Google, and The New York Times, the app determines a user’s congressional district and identifies the candidates running for office in that district. Users are allowed to vote once a week for each ballot. The polling data is then stored with Google Fusion Tables.
